Die UNISON Colour Handmade Soft Pastels wurden 1987 vom englischen Künstler John Hersey ins Leben gerufen, der mit den damals verfügbaren Pastellkreiden unzufrieden war. Durch jahrelange Forschung und Experimente entwickelte er handgefertigte Pastelle, die seinen hohen Ansprüchen an Farbe, Textur und Haltbarkeit gerecht wurden. Diese Pastelle werden bis heute in Northumberland, Großbritannien, nach traditionellen Rezepturen hergestellt.

- Reine Pigmente: Verwendung der besten traditionellen Pigmente in höchster Konzentration für intensive und lebendige Farben.
- Handgefertigt: Jede Pastellkreide wird von Hand gerollt, was zu einer einzigartigen Textur und Form führt.
